Phase 2 of the BARK Dog Park Crowdsourcing Initiative: It’s Time to Vote!

Introducing two park design concepts for BARK at Wyld Oaks

This summer, Wyld Oaks asked the nation to dream big and share epic ideas for what would make its future dog park one of the best in the nation.

The nation did not disappoint! The creativity and enthusiasm from across the country have been nothing short of extraordinary—even attracting media attention that energized public participation!

Creative ideas, including selfie stations, pup treat cafés, bath stations, agility courses, and splash pads, were just a few of the amazing contributions that got our tails wagging. Pet parents also provided pictures of their pups, which were highlighted in Wyld Oaks’ social media content.

After reviewing and synthesizing all of this innovative input, we’re thrilled to debut the next step in our journey to create a dog park to rival all dog parks. Two distinct design concepts have emerged thanks to the incredible team at LRK, an award-winning design firm based in Orlando that is renowned for its expertise in landmark mixed-use projects across the country.

And now, it’s time to cast your vote to help us determine the ultimate design!

The Big Reveal: Two Pawsitively Exciting Designs

  • Concept 1: This concept includes a daisy chain approach to linking and connecting dog park features across Wyld Oaks, weaving between future shopping, dining, plazas, green spaces, and recreational centers.
Concept 1: BARK Trails
  • Concept 2: This concept focuses on creating more of a traditional single dog park area. Experiences and features would be contained within the park area rather than winding between destinations at Wyld Oaks.
Concept 2: BARK Park
